This strategy works exceptionally well here in Dubai. 90% of the population is expatriate and yet there are very few problems because all the bad apples are either deported, or they just cant get a job (and hence a visa) here in the first place. As much as I disagree with some things here, I respect the fact that its not my country and they can kick me out or I can leave. The trouble with the UK is it lets in absolutely anyone and once they are in its very hard to kick them out no matter who they are or what they do. We are letting in thousands of people who wont get jobs and wont be a part of society. We are letting in hardened criminals who know full well they cant be sent home because of our human rights laws. We are letting in people who have absolutely no respect for our law, our society or our belief in human rights. The worst part is the racism. Yes there are racists in the UK. There are people who hate anyone who isn't white. Does that make my point about immigration any less valid? No! But it does mean that you'll be accused of racism if you suggest that immigration might be a problem
