MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:
Member of Singapore Operations IT group providing support to our
business clients â?? Listed Derivatives Operations (LDO).
The candidate will provide technical analysis, development and support
of the LDO vendor application GMI and associated AS/400 in-house
applications.
The role is to use business requirements and perform analysis of
technical requirements, specification of solutions, development,
testing, support of User Acceptance testing, implementation and
support of projects.
The successful candidate will perform the role of developer.
They will be required to work in a complex environment. Direct clients
will be the Listed Derivatives Operations IT group, but they will also
be working closely with business users in Listed Derivatives
Operations
The role will be based in Singapore but deliveries could be to any
location globally.
They will work across platforms from AS400, through Unix/Oracle to
windows with a portfolio of applications.
They will be responsible for the following functions :
â?¢Work with the Project Manager/Business analyst, architects and
other team members to design solutions of the projects undertaken.
â?¢Participate in and work on all aspects of the technical design &
specification phase of projects. Ensure solutions are defined for all
requirements, solutions are agreed to by the business line and other
IT teams, options are provided for large or complicated changes and
all functional design is documented and delivered to an exceptional
quality and is consistent across deliveries.
â?¢Provide subject matter expertise to support development & testing
of project deliverables and validation of quality assurance.
â?¢Ensure business engineering standards are applied by all parties
involved in projects and deliveries. Participate in initiatives to
improve standard business engineering practice.
