Job Description

Reporting to the Managing Director, this person will form part of the
Senior Management Team and work to improve the efficiency of the
Finance function and contribute strategically to the growth and

Roles/Responsibilities

Responsibility for all Financial and Administration functions for the Group.
Preparation of Monthly management accounts for 5 companies including
consolidated accounts & present to the Senior Management team
Oversee all accounting systems & processes including debtors,
creditors, cash, taxation and associated reconciliations & controls
Monitor revenues/costs to allow a comprehensive analysis of co. performance
Cash Flow management, Budgeting and Forecasting
Manage the current team working in the accounts function (10+ reports)

Ensure all co. accounts are maintained to audit standard and act as
liaison with auditors
Development of internal controls, systems and procedures.
Management of the companies Banking/Insurance requirements.
Contribute to the strategic & general management of the company

Skills/Experience

Qualified Accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA

3 - 5 years industry experience (preferably in the
Services/Construction industry)

Good Management capabilities, communication skills, and a team player.

Strong IT skills

Decisive, hands on and energetic individual

Large multinational requires experienced German speakers to join the
finance team on a contract basis.

Duties will include:

Liaising with suppliers in Germany to discuss queries regarding invoices
Entering invoices onto the accounts system and archiving of same
Retrieving invoices to assist the Accounts Payable team in Germany to
resolve issues or queries
Daily relevant administration and constant customer focus

Requirements:

Fluency in German is essential for this role as you will be dealing

Manager for their Corporate Recovery & Insolvency Departent. Ideal
candidate will have 4-5 years experience in a corporate recovery and
insolvency environment and will be ACA / ACCA qualified.

As a manager, you will manage a portfolio of assignments to
incorporate the following:

Assisting in Disposal and Realisation of Company Assets for assigned
portfolio, reporting to Director/Partner
Drafting the preparation of sales memoranda in facilitating sales as
going concerns
Assisting with the drafting of Contracts for Sale
Interfacing with various stakeholders - banks, creditors, investors /
potential purchasers for assigned portfolio
Report writing to appointer banks, High Court, Committees of Inspection
Managing claims of creditors - utility creditors, retention of title
creditors, leasing creditors etc
Management of Statutory Employee Claims & liaison with Department of
Enterprise, Trade & Employment regarding Statutory Employee
Entitlements
Assisting with and conducting Forensic, Fraud and Turnaround assignments
Litigation support
Various other ad hoc duties

Other Requirements:

Possess good working knowledge of Insolvency legislation and legal precedence
Be fully aware of statutory requirements
Possess good working technical knowledge of Statutory Employment Legislation
Writing of articles for internal and external publications
Assist in training presentations both internally and externally
Attend and actively participate in practice development evenings and events
